It wasn’t until my desire to live with boldness and purpose outweighed my desire to hide and play it safe, that I was willing to face my fears.

I wanted to become a doctor, but I had a weak stomach. 

I started out working in a bank. I followed my husband to graduate school.  I studied counseling because I could for free. I got my first client as a co-therapist.  It felt so natural, and I was surprisingly good at it. 

After 15 years of working in almost every area of counseling trying to convince people of their need to change. After encountering major setbacks and disappointments in my own life and losing sight of who I knew I was called to be, I made the shift to helping others who are ready to invest in themselves.

I have allowed fear to stop me from pursuing the life I was designed to live — a life of impact and influence. 

Bogged down in feelings of regret, guilt, and unworthiness. It wasn’t because I didn’t believe in God, or I wasn’t fasting and praying, or that I lacked information. It was because I wasn’t willing to let go of unproductive beliefs and behaviors that kept me stuck, unwilling to test that belief against the reality of what is possible.

I didn’t have a winning mindset or system and I lacked support and accountability.

There is a designed way. It wasn’t until my desire to live with boldness and purpose outweighed my desire to hide and play it safe, that I was willing to face my fears. I begin to invest in my personal development and follow the clues God left on record in his word and other faith-based and purpose-driven coaches and leaders.

This winning formula changed my life. I want to do the same for others.

 We are all created for a purpose with everything inside of us to fulfill that purpose. However, the role of purpose is lined with setbacks and disappointments.  We need support and accountability on our journey to purpose.
